The statistical data released by the General Administration of Customs on March 10 showed that in the first two months of 2010, the accumulated exports of product oil reached 4.3 million tons, a surge of 63.8 percent over the same period of 2009.
In February, China exported product oil with 1.6 million tons. The aforementioned product oil includes gasoline, diesel, aviation kerosene, naphtha and fuel oil, etc.
It is expected that gasoline exports in March would maintain a high level of 0.5 million tons. The gasoline exports in the year 2009 totaled 4.933 million tons, so the 0.5 million tons is higher than the average level of 2009.
