Shenzhen Export Unmanned Planes Hit Record High

Civil light airplanes and aircrafts (HS code 88022000, hereinafter as "unmanned planes") are one of the strongest growing exports from Shenzhen in recent years. According to Shenzhen Customs statistics, in the first quarter of this year, Shenzhen export of unmanned planes reached CNY 2.17 billion, up 1.1 times year-on-year (YOY). Therein, the export to Hong Kong reached 1.04 billion yuan, up 1.8 times YOY, accounting for 47.8%; export to USA 600 million yuan, up 45.3% YOY, accounting for 27.8%; export to EU 350 million yuan, up 1.3 times YOY, accounting for 16%.
