Taiwan Cement Determined to China's No.3 Cement Player

Gu Chengyun, chair of the board of Taiwan Cement Corporation, showed his aggressive ambition at the shareholders assembly on June 19.
Gu said, after the completion of four cement production lines in Yingde, Guangdong and another four lines in Guigang, Guangxi, Taiwan Cement added 18 mln tons to its mainland capacity. And the group was going to expand its capacity in main land to 50 mln tons.
The aim of Taiwan cement Corporation is to ensure first place in South China and the third in the country.
