We are an export company of fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables. Trading was relatively smoothly before 2006, most customers are locked in Middle East and Southeast Asia. But exports have repeatedly hampered in recent years, tax rebate gradually reduced even cancelled. That is a tremendous impact and challenge for those who do export trading. Exhibitions and platforms are usually the fundamental ways to develop international customers. We don't attend exhibitions abroad much because of personnel and cost problem. Each cost of support must be careful for us who is a small and medium-sized factory, so we look for customers through internet. There are too much internet platforms, each platform talks about their own strength, I heard too much. So most time I look for some foreign websites to publish information, and then wait for feedback and reply. Occasionally there are some inquires, but this way is too passive for us. Therefore, we decide to choose an appropriate platform to get customers. Alibaba is the first consideration, after all, this platform has good international recognition. But their charge for common international members is 50,000 Yuan a year, if we add keyword promotion fee, the cost will be much higher. We have certain hesitation for this investment.
