China Will Energetically Implement IPR Strategy

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao stressed in his work report to the National People's Congress (NPC) on March 5 that China will energetically implement IPR strategy, enhance IPR creation, use and protection and further stimulate the innovative enthusiasm of S&T practitioners and the whole society.
Wen said that to restructure and rejuvenate key industries, China will do the following things. First, innovate in technologies, make full use of the special funds for technology improvement, and guide enterprises to develop new products, save energy and reduce consumption; second, promote the annexation and reorganization of enterprises, break industry monopolization and regional blockage, and encourage powerful enterprises to annex weak ones; third, thoroughly improve the quality of the products, instruct enterprises to concentrate on brand, standard, service and benefits, better quality management system and aggrandize enterprises' social responsibilities.
