To facilitate import and export consignees, consignors, operating units and agents to exactly determine the classifications of import and export goods, ensuring successful implementation of the Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System (HS), the GACC hereby issues its Decision on Commodity Classification (the World Customs Organization's Decision on Commodity Classification for 2010-2011) (see annex), according to relevant HS regulations and WCO requirements.

The Decision on Commodity Classification shall take effect from the issue date herein.
