In 2006, the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council of China decided to levy anti-dumping duties on catechol from the U.S. and Japan for five years from May 22, 2006.

Based on the results of final review by the Ministry of Commerce of China, the Customs Tariff Commission decides to continue the anti-dumping duties for five years from May 22, 2012.

Relevant matters are hereby announced:

From May 22, 2012, China Customs may continue to levy anti-dumping duties on the catechol (HS Code 29072910) originating in the U.S. and Japan according to the scopes, rates and formulas set forth in GACC Announcements No.24 of 2006 and No. 42 of 2009.
