MOFCOM Announcement No. 60, 2014 ( on End Antidumping on Styrene Butadiene Rubbers from Russia, Japan & South Korea )

On September 7, 2009, China Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) issued its annual announcement no.62 for five-year antidumping measures on Styrene Butadiene Rubbers from Russia, Japan and South Korea as per previous announcements no.49 of 2003, no. 81 of 2005, no.65 and 68 of 2006, and no. 86 of 2007.

On March 7, 2014, the MOFCOM issued its annual announcement no.15 informing the interested parties of the expiry of the aforesaid antidumping measure on September 7, 2014. From March 7, Chinese domestic industry or industrial representatives (individuals or organizations) may apply in writing to the MOFCOM for relevant expiry review 60 days prior to the expiring date of the antidumping measure.

Within the time limit aforesaid, the domestic industry has failed to submit the expiry-review application and the MOFCOM has decided not to initiate the expiry review. Therefore, from September 8, 2014, the MOFCOM will terminate the antidumping measure on Styrene Butadiene Rubbers originating in Russia, Japan and South Korea.
