GACC Announcement No.39, 2017 on Customs Inspection Record Signing

In order to simplify Customs inspection process, the GACC hereby makes the following requirements on signing Customs Inspection Record after X-ray machine check:

1. Where goods are released after X-ray machine check, it may be up to Customs-control workplace or vehicle operator to sign on Customs Inspection Record for compliance confirmation, without the need for goods consignee or consignor to sign thereon.

2. The Customs Inspection Record may be signed on the scene or later 5 workdays after X-ray machine check.

3. This Announcement shall enter into force on 1 September 2017.
