EU Takes AD Probe into China's Organic Coated Steel Plates

On Dec. 21, 2011, requested by the Eurofer, a European steel industrial confederation, the European Commission launched antidumping (AD) investigation into organic coated steel plates originating in China which are under EU combined HS codes: ex72107080, ex72124080, ex72259900 and ex72269970.

The investigation period for dumping is from October 1, 2010 to September 30, 2011, and the Commission considers selecting Canada or South Africa as the surrogate country for calculating the normal value of involved Chinese products.
