China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) launched a review of its anti-dumping measures on imports of potato starch from the European Union on Feb. 6, 2012 according to an announcement by the ministry.

The existing anti-dumping measures against EU potato starch exporters will remain in effect and unchanged throughout the review, which is expected to end on Feb. 6, 2013.

According to the MOFCOM's Announcement No. 16 of 2011, the Netherlands-based Avebe and Germany-based Avebe Potato Starch Factory are subject to an anti-dumping duty rate of 12.6 percent, while the duty rate for France-based Roquette Freres and other EU companies is 56.7 percent.
