Germany to File AD Lawsuit on Chinese Solar Panels

According to Berlin news of July 20 on www.reuters.com, Germany's environmental minister Peter Altmaier said on July 19 that German government intends to file an antidumping (AD) lawsuit with the EU on solar-cell panels made in China because corresponding German manufacturers are in a bind caused by Chinese enterprises' low prices that are based on Chinese governmental financing support.

Reportedly, encouraged by U.S. antidumping on the Chinese panels, the German manufacturers, headed by Solarword, are now striving for their antidumping lawsuit that can be launched only after endorsed by at least 25% of EU manufacturers of solar-cell products.
