Pakistan Interim AD Duties on BOPP Films

　　　
Recently, Pakistani tariff commission (NTC) announced its preliminary antidumping (AD) ruling on Biaxially Oriented Poly Propylene (BOPP) films under HS Codes 3920.2010 and 3920.2030, which decides to levy four-month interim antidumping duties from August 14, 2012 on those products from China, Saudi Arabia, Oman and the UAE, with the rate 62.70% applied to Chinese mainland exporters.

In March 2012, the NTC decided to start the antidumping probe.

The interested parties can request the NTC to reveal relevant details within 15 days after the preliminary ruling announcement and to hold a public hearing within 30 days after that announcement.

The NTC will make a final ruling within 4 months from the preliminary ruling date.
