Russia May Raise Export Duty on Petroleum in Sept. 2010

According to the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, as of September 1, 2010, Russia's export duty on petroleum may be raised to USD 274 per ton to USD 277 per ton from USD 263.8 per ton in August 2010.

The export duty on petroleum originating in East Siberia may be determined from USD 87 per ton to USD 89 per ton, while that on light petroleum products and heavy petroleum products are likely to be raise to respectively between USD 197 per ton and USD 199 per ton and between USD 106 per ton and USD 107 per ton.
