The R. O. Korea Reduced Tariff on Commodities

According to a report on January 21, 2011 from the R. O. Korea's Yonhap News, the Ministry of Strategy and Finance of the R. O. Korea indicated in the meeting held on January 21 aiming at stabilizing prices that the Government decided to adjust tariffs on 7 kinds of commodities including mackerel, milk powder, concentrated orange juice, washing powder, and coffee beans because of the rising prices and growing demand recently.

It is estimated that the original prices of these commodities can be reduced through the tariff reduction, thus stabilizing the prices.
