Turkey Adopts Provisional Measure on Woven Fabrics and Apparels

The Turkish Council of Ministers, through Decree nr. 2011/1476, published on the Offical Gazette nr.27884 dated 24th of March 2011, has adopted provisional measure on imports of woven fabrics and apparels. The measure, consisting of additional ad valorem custom duties subject to upper and lower limits per kilogram, will be effective after 120 days following the publication date of the Decree. Turkey had initiated a safeguard investigation on imports of woven fabrics and apparels, on 13th of January 2011, through Communiquès 2011/1 and 2011/2.
