Vietnam to Raise Stainless-Steel Import Tariff

[2011-11-02 17:48:45]

According to Vietnam Economy News on November 1, Vietnam Steel Association recently suggested increasing import tariff from current 0% to 10% on stainless steel (cold-rolled) products.

It is reported that Vietnam's annual stainless steel capacity of 350,000 tons can fully meet Vietnamese market demand; therefore, the imports should be restricted so as to support domestic steel enterprises.
