Based on the results of anti-dumping investigation conducted by the Ministry of Commerce in 2003, Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council has decided to level anti-dumping duty on the Phthalic Anhydride imported from and originally produced in Korea, Japan and India for a period of 5 years commencing from August 31, 2003. In response to the application of relevant domestic enterprises upon expiry of the duty-levying period, the Ministry of Commerce has decided to conduct final reexamination of the anti-dumping measures applicable to the Phthalic Anhydride imported from and originally produced in Korea, Japan and India. Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council makes a decision that Customs shall continue to levy anti-dumping duty on the Phthalic Anhydride imported from and originally produced in Korea, Japan and India pending the final reexamination of the anti-dumping measures. Matters in relation to the enforcement of the anti-dumping measures are hereby announced as follows:
The Customs will continue to levy anti-dumping duty on the Phthalic Anhydride imported from and originally produced in Korea, Japan and India as of August 31, 2008 according to the product scope, tax rate, and formula etc. as provided in Announcement No. 52 (2003) of General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China.
