India Special Safeguard Ruling on Chinese Carbon Black

On July 31, 2012, India authority made a final ruling for its special safeguard against China-made carbon black:

Levy a three-year special safeguard duty at 30% for the first year (ad valorem duty, less than antidumping duty), 25% for the second year (ad valorem) and 20% for the third year (ad valorem) respectively.

In December 2011, India started the special-safeguard probe.
