Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council decided in 2003 to levy anti-dumping duty on the PolyVinyl Chloride imported from and originally produced in the US, Korea, Japan, Russia and Taiwan for a period of 5 years commencing from September 29, 2003. In response to the application of relevant domestic enterprises upon expiry of the duty-levying period, the Ministry of Commerce decided to conduct final reexamination of the anti-dumping measures applicable to the PolyVinyl Chloride imported from and originally produced in the US, Korea, Japan, Russia and Taiwan. Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council decides that the Customs shall continue to levy anti-dumping duty on the PolyVinyl Chloride imported from and originally produced in the US, Korea, Japan, Russia and Taiwan pending the final reexamination of the anti-dumping measures. Matters in relation to the enforcement of the anti-dumping measures are hereby announced as follows:
The Customs will continue to levy anti-dumping duty on the PolyVinyl Chloride imported from and originally produced in the US, Korea, Japan, Russia and Taiwan as of September 29, 2008 according to the product scope, tax rate, and formula as provided in Announcement No. 56 (2003) of General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China.
