[2012-04-23 16:00:01]

On April 19, 2012, the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) announced that a U.S. industry is materially injured by dumped steel nails from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

All six Commissioners voted in the affirmative.

Upon the USITC's ruling, the U.S. Department of Commerce will levy antidumping duties on those UAE products.

On April 20, 2011, the Department started the antidumping probe under HS Codes 73170055, 73170065, 73170075.

On March 20, 2012, the Department finally ruled the antidumping duties 2.80%-184.41% on the UAE enterprises involved.
