In the statistics by country/region on imports and exports, the imports are associated with the country/region of origin, and the exports are associated with the country/region of final destination. The country/region of origin refer to those where the imported goods have been produced, mined, or processed. If the imported goods have been processed by several countries/regions, the ultimate one where the goods have undergone an economically substantial processing should be regarded as the country/region of origin.
