GACC Announcement No.46, 2015 (on Uniform Social Credit Code Implementation)

To implement State Council's requirements for Uniform Social Credit Code, in accordance with State Council Notice of GuoFa [2015] No. 33, hereby announced are the matters regarding Customs implementation of Uniform Social Credit Code:
1.As from 1 October 2015, legal persons and other organizations that have obtained respective Uniform Social Credit Codes shall apply for registration with China Customs by submitting their new registration certificates encoded with Uniform Social Credit Codes that are issued by registration administrations, and the Customs will not check their untransformed old Business Licenses, Organization Code Certificates or Tax Registration Certificates any longer. Where the numbers/codes of the certificates/licenses aforesaid are required, their Uniform Social Credit Codes shall be provided instead.
2.The legal persons and other organizations that registered with registration administrations before 1 October 2015 may apply for Customs registration still by submitting their untransformed old Business Licenses, Organization Code Certificates, Tax Registration Certificates, etc.
