The Shanghai Customs of China comprehensively promotes the reform in customs clearance by classifications, the export reform has expanded to all the spots concerning both water transport and air transport, and automatic and efficient examination & clearance has been realized for 90% of export customs declaration forms and 70% of import customs declaration forms.

Shanghai Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau has gradually established a new supervision pattern for inspection and quarantine based on classification management, of which 3,394 enterprises have been included into the industrial products for export under the system of such classification management.

Shanghai General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection takes measures that bring convenience to people such as "self-service declaration", adds 18 passenger channels at Terminal T2 at Pudong International Airport, and opens the transit hall for international-international transfer and 10 channels for self-service inspection.
