The General Administration of Customs carried out ten measures to help import & export enterprises answer the financial crisis, so as to bring them warmth in the "winter".
The ten measures mainly include to provide as much as convenience in Customs clearance, to carry out collateral clearance, to provide individualized support in policies and laws, to carry forward the development of special warding zones of the Customs, to promote transformation and upgrade of processing trade, to strengthen statistics, monitoring and pre-warning and to lay emphasis on the Customs protection of self-developed intellectual property rights of domestic enterprises, etc.
The Customs will take more convenient Customs clearance on the export of products with self-developed brands and core technology, large-sized mechanical equipment and competitive labor intensive products in the field of agriculture, light industry and textile as well as the import of advanced technology, equipment, crucial components, energy resources and raw materials that are in great need in China. In the meantime, the Customs will, jointly with the competent departments of commerce, positively relax restrictions on the returned export products for maintenance that are equipped with self-developed brands and core technology; also such high and new technology enterprises and large-sized equipment manufacturing industry are led to set up R&D centers and examination & maintenance service centers in China.
