Intel to Add 110 mln USD in Investment in China

The Intel Corporation has decided to invest an additional 110 million USD in registered capital in Shanghai-based Intel China Ltd. that specializes in investments, according to news released by the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce on February 5. The move is meant to beef up the company's investment business in Chinaon.
Intel will further integrate its business in the Asia-Pacific Region along with the additional investment, and file an application with the Ministry of Commerce for the designation of Shanghai-based Intel China as the multinational's regional headquarter in the country.
