China and US Sets up Better Openness for Trade Ties

The US will keeping promoting mutual understanding with China, under-Secretary in International Affairs of the US Department of Treasury said in Beijing yesterday. Mr David McCormick also said that the enormous benefits arising from foreign investment openness is important for both the US and China.



Under-Secretary for International Affairs David McCormick warned that the talk of protectionism could easily invoke national passions, hence it is important for both the US and China to keep in mind the tremendous benefits arising out of openness in foreign investment.
