Chinese government probably will give incentive policies like tax reduction to encourage China's coal enterprises to participate in the national coal reserve plan, a researcher drafting the China Coal Reserve Plan was cited as saying by the 21st Century Economic Report Friday.

Participants of the plan would also have priority in acquiring coal at the reserve base through transportation network, said Qian Pingfan, the researcher with the Development Research Center of the State Council.

The Development Research Center is studying the plan of founding a national coal reserve system. Qian Pingfan is also a member of the drafting team.

He said that the program would be guided by the government and run by enterprises.

It is learned that Zhejiang province and Shandong province in East China have started the operation of the demonstrative project of coal reserve mechanism.
