Situated in the heart of China's textile manufacturing hub — the Intertextile Pavilion at Shenzhen, running from 9 — 11 July 2009, offers buyers a comprehensive sourcing venue in the world of apparel fabrics.

At this speciality event, buyers can meet directly with 200 leading textile suppliers and manufacturers of ladies & menswear, sports & casual wear and swimwear & lingerie. Countries and regions confirmed to showcase their wide range of fabrics on 8,500 sqm of display include China, Japan, Hong Kong, Korea and Switzerland.

For the first time this year, a special Japan zone will be launched. Seven Japanese fabric mill suppliers will feature high quality ladieswear fabrics, woven fabrics, cotton blends and knitted fabrics suitable for medium to high-end fashion. Among the confirmed participants are Moririn Co Ltd showcasing lyocell blended fabrics including woven and knits; Takisada-Nagoya Co Ltd & Kiryu Textile Weavers Co-operative Association highlighting natural and synthetic fabrics and Yagi accenting their organic and recycled cotton yarn / knitted and woven fabrics.

Additionally, visitors will find a variety of products on display including accessories, man-made functional fabrics, apparel related services, knitted and woven fabrics and many more.

First time exhibitors Franz Barta Far East (Hong Kong) joined this year's pavilion to help to raise awareness of their transfers in the Asian market and for the opportunity to meet new buyers in China. "We have a wide range of transfers that are highly elastic and wash resistant, which are available as reels or single cuts," explained Ms Karman Wan, Office Manager for the Hong Kong office. She further reflected, "special finishes such as reflective and heat sensitive transfers, among others are also available."

The Intertextile pavilion will be held in tandem with the China (Shenzhen) International Brand Clothing & Accessories Fair and the 2009 Shenzhen International Maternity and Clothing Expo, where visitors can benefit from the crossover of suppliers and vast range of products on display.
