China Becomes the 3rd Diamond Consumption Country

The new data from Shanghai diamond exchange office shows that China has become the 3rd diamond consumption country, in Jan to May, the diamond in domestic market researched USD 0.238.

It is reported from Wenhui newspaper that, from last year, because of the financial crisis, world-wide diamond trading center keeping decreasing. The export & import trade amount of Israel, Belgium and India decreased by 60%, 46% and 35%

Shanghai diamond trading center is keeping the rising trends, the trade amount reached USD 0.692. Especially, in the wedding market, it is reported that Shanghai diamond exchange becomes the important stop, which owns 240 members.
