Organised by Reed Exhibitions and Reed Huayin (Shanghai) International Exhibitions Co., Ltd., National Hardware Show Asia 2006 (Asia Hardware Sourcing Show 2006) will be staged at 16-19 Oct 2006 in the GD Modern International Exhibition Center in concurrent with famous China Canton Fair.
"National Hardware Show and Lawn & Garden World" held in Las Vegas has become one of the biggest and most famous hardware and tools trade show in the world. In the year 2005, NHS celebrated the 60th show with more than 3200 exhibitors from over 40 countries and regions, and also 30% increase in attendance. According to the show statistics, 500 exhibitors from mainland China, 200 from Taiwan region and other hundreds from Japan, Korea, Thailand, India, Malaysia and Hong Kong region. Along with the increase of production capacity and export amount by around 30% each year, Asia will be the biggest hardware manufacturing base for the Europe and America buyers in year 2010.
Many European and American importers, wholesalers, distributors, dealers and retailers who have visited National Hardware Show in Las Vegas desperately hope that they could have a chance to come to Asia and to purchase the products in the latter half of the year. In this way they could make sale preparation for next year and NHS Asia 2006 will meet their strong demands. The four-day's exhibition will display the full variety of DIY and professional products including tools, building hardware, housewares, plumbing, electrical, paint and home d谷cor, fasteners, lawn & garden, etc. It will be an export-oriented show suited to the needs of home centers, hardware stores, supermarkets, mass merchants and warehouse clubs from the European and American countries.
The show offers an ideal sourcing platform for international buyers and a channel for Asian industry manufacturers to look at new product trends. It is also an excellent platform from which Asian hardware exporters can launch their new products effectively into the global market. Particularity NHS Asia will be held simultaneously with Canton Fair which is the biggest commodity exhibition in China. Every year more than two hundred thousand overseas merchants come to Guangzhou from which GD Modern International Exhibition Center is only forty minutes drive away. Therefore NHS Asia offers an excellent chance for the Asian exhibitors to contact a huge number of professional buyers who come to visit Canton Fair.
As we all know, the big amount and high quality international buyers is critical to the success of our show. Apart from we could share the visitor database and resources with NHS in USA and other hardware industry shows like Batimat and Equip Hotel organized by Reed Exhibitions in France, we still plans to set up a series of effective schemes, such as: the counter with 2-3 trained temporary staff will be set up at each of 250-300 hotels mainly hosting international buyers to Canton Fair in Guangzhou and Dongguan during the show period and 150-200 shuttle buses will be arranged to link these hotels and offer door-to-door transportation service. The organizer also plans to partner up travel agencies to provide travel services and assistance to international buyers, as well as to seek partnerships with selected hotels in Dongguan to facilitate more hardware buyers to be able to secure rooms in the city.
With the rich resources of buyers and well-known show brand, the organizer believes that there will be a significant opportunity to develop NHS Asia (Asia Hardware Sourcing Show) into the best and biggest one of its niche in China and Asia and the most important face-to-face trade platform for hardware in Asia.
