On 4th, Nov, 2008, the Chinese group received the latest news: EU commission proposes to impose 87% antidumping tax on fastener products from China. Although a definitive decision on the case requires a majority of member states to affirm the Commission’s decisions, it is a great shock to carbon steel fastener manufacturers in China. It must be a hard time for Chinese fastener manufacturer when the definitive decision comes out.    The customs code of involving product are as follow: 73181290、73181491、73181499、73181559、73181569、73181581、73181589、73181590、73182100 and 73182200. It nearly covers all kinds of carbon fasteners. Only nut is excluded. Nearly all carbon steel fastener manufacturers in China are included in this case. Only Celo Suzhou Precision Fasteners (www.celo.com) and Agrati Yantai Agrati Fasteners (www.agrati.com) can escape from the antidumping case.
