China's Nov industrial value-added output climbs 5.4 pct on-yr

China’s industrial value-added output in November edged up 5.4 pct year-on-year, slowing sharply from 8.2 pct in October this year, the National Bureau of Statistics said.



Industrial value-added output in the first 11 months rose 13.7 pct from a year earlier, down from 14.4 pct in the first 10 months.



In November, raw coal production rose 5.2 pct from a year earlier to 230 mln tons, while electricity generation was 254.02 bln kilowatt hours (kwh), down 9.6 pct from the same period of last year.



Crude oil output totaled 15.86 mln tons, up 4.9 pct year-on-year.



Production of raw iron dropped 16.2 pct to 33.52 mln tons, crude steel down 12.4 pct at 35.19 mln tons, and steel products down 11 pct at 42.3 mln tons.



Cement output was 130 mln tons, up 2.8 pct year-on-year.



Auto production fell 15.9 pct to 714,000 mln units. Sedans accounted for 433,000 units, down 10.1 pct year-on-year.
