China coke export down 39 pct in Nov

China’s coke export dropped nearly 40 percent in November as compared October, as demand from overseas market tumbled amid economic downturn, show statistical figures of the General Administration of Customs.



Total export of coke and semi-coke reduced 206 thousand tonnes from October's 526 thousand tonnes to 320 thousand tonnes in November this year, according to customs data.



Total export in the first 11 months fell 16.9 percent year on year to 11.9 million tonnes, valuing US$ 5.71 billion, an increase of 106.7 percent as compared with the same period of last year.
