RE: Real UK car sales ‘have halved’ in November 2008

I honestly think that if here were 15% of private buyers in the market before this proverbial sliding off a stick and hitting the fan for a good muck spreading, will now be 3% and they may even be wise and go 2nd hand. That leaves just the companies buying and they are chucking out people like pins at a bowling alley on a Friday night, and whilst the VAT drop might be more beneficial for a volume buyer, one must undersstand that not one company right ow will be able to do much as the bean counters are rushing through various print-outs to see who can be axed and how much can be saved with immediate effect and what that might give in an extended life span of business which is in serious reccession for an unknown period. I wouldnt like to be a car salesman right now.
