Magnus Olesen A/S of Durup has taken over Dnmark Aps and the associated furniture collection.

 

Magnus Olesen A/S of Durup has taken over Dnmark Aps and the associated furniture collection comprising the stacking chair Pablo, the Lounge products "Mono Lounge" and "Daybed" as well as the tables "Mono" and "GT" tables. The entire collection was designed by furniture designer Rene Hougaard and will from now on be manufactured in Durup as part of Magnus Olesen’s product range.

 

Since its founding in 2006, Dnmark has produced a series of design-led products that have aroused attention in Denmark and abroad. The products are sold to the retail furniture trade as well as direct to businesses.

The purchase of the Dnmark collection underpins Magnus Olesen’s product platform and the company’s position as a design-led enterprise, as the new products are fine enhancements of the company’s existing designer profile.

 

In addition, Magnus Olesen works together with a number of leading Danish designers and expects to present both innovative and classic products in new, scintillating colours at CODE, a designer furniture fair, to be held in Copenhagen’s Bella Centre in May.
