India Made Preliminary Ruling of Anti-Dumping Investigation on Chinese Sodium Tripoly Phosphate, Proposing to Levy Provisional Anti-Dumping Duty

On May 21, 2010, the anti-dumping authority of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry of India made a preliminary ruling of the anti-dumping investigation on Sodium Tripoly Phosphate (STPP) originating in China, proposing to levy a provisional anti-dumping duty on such Chinese products.

Finally, dumping margins of 4 Chinese enterprises were determined between 25% and 45%, while that of other Chinese enterprises determined between 100% and 110%. Accordingly, the anti-dumping authority proposed to levy a provisional anti-dumping duty on such Chinese products, with the duty rate for the 4 exporting enterprises between USD 0.294 per kilogram and USD 0.357 per kilogram, while that for other Chinese enterprises at USD 0.671 per kilogram.
