India Formally Imposes Anti-Dumping Duty on Chinese Front Axle Beam & Steering Knuckles for Vehicles

According to Indian Ministry of Finance, Indian Customs decided on April 12, 2010 to formally impose an anti-dumping duty on front axle beam & steering knuckles for heavy and medium commercial vehicles originated from China, with the levy period of five years (until June 14, 2014).

Among the Chinese exporters involved, anti-dumping duty rates of USD 0.35 per kilogram and USD 0.63 per kilogram were respectively imposed on Hubei Tri-Ring Axle Beam Co., Ltd. and other front axle beam manufacturers, while anti-dumping duty rates of USD 0.64 per kilogram and USD 1.11 per kilogram were respectively imposed on Hubei Tri-Ring Forging Co., Ltd. and other steering knuckles manufacturers.
