Announcement No.43, 2008 of the Ministry of Commerce Announcement on Issues Conc

The issues concerning import of ghee in China and ASEAN Free Trade Area are hereby announced in accordance with the Framework Agreement on Comprehensive Economic Co-operation between ASEAN and China and upon consent of the Ministry of Finance and the General Administration of Customs:   

   
1.  The preferential tariff rate for the mixed edible grease or products (tariff code: 15179000) under China-ASEAN Free Trade Area shall be applicable to the import of ghee originating in ASEAN countries.    

2. The importer declaring applicability of the preferential tariff rate under China-ASEAN Free Trade Area to ghee import shall submit the Certificate of Origin Form E issued by the competent authorities designated by the government of the exporting country and other documents required.  

This Announcement shall enter into force upon its issuance.
