[2010-11-08 14:04:43]

According to a report on Oct. 22, 2010 from a comprehensive media, the U.S. International Trade Commission agreed on that day about the imposition of anti-dumping and anti-subsidy duties on coated paper imported from China.

As indicated by the independent Commission, the U.S. manufacturers of coated paper were injured by such imports, therefore clearing the way for the imposition of the "double-anti duties".

The U.S sanctions include the imposition of anti-dumping duties ranging from 7.60% to 135.83% on the coated paper products from China, and the duty rates shall be determined by the prices of such Chinese products sold in the U.S. which were less than the fair value as confirmed by the U.S. Commerce Department.

In addition, in revenge for the subsidies offered by the Chinese Government to such products, anti-subsidy duties ranging from 17.64% to 178.03% are also included in the sanctions.
