The U.S. Department of Commerce Administrative Review Determined Anti-Dumping Duty from 43.23% to 216.01% on Chinese Wooden Furniture for Bedrooms

On August 13, 2010, the Department of Commerce of the United States issued the final ruling of the 4th anti-dumping administrative review on Chinese wooden furniture for bedrooms.

As per the final ruling, 13 Chinese enterprises got the separate duty rate of 43.23%, including Chaoyang Furniture, while the duty rate for other Chinese enterprises shall be 216.01%.

In November 2003, the Department of Commerce of the United States initiated an anti-dumping investigation into Chinese wooden furniture for bedrooms, and released the final ruling on November 9, 2004.

On January 4, 2005, the United States formally imposed anti-dumping duties on relevant Chinese imports.

During the next 4 years, the Department of Commerce conducted 4 anti-dumping administrative reviews on this case, and the anti-dumping duty rates for Chinese enterprises in the 3rd administrative review were ranging from 29.89% to 216.01%.
