The U.S. Department of Commerce Adjusted Part of Anti-Subsidy Duty Rates on Steel Strands from China

On July 6, 2010, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced to adjust part of the anti-subsidy duty rates on the steel strands imported from China, declaring that there was some administrative error in the duty rates previously announced.

The specific adjustment is: the duty rate for Fasten Group Imp. & Exp. Co., Ltd. shall be adjusted to 9.42% from 8.85%, the duty rate for other Chinese enterprises involved shall be adjusted to 27.64% from 27.35%, and the duty rate for Xinhua Metal Products Co., Ltd. shall be 45.85%.

The products involved are under the HS Codes of 7312.10.3010 and 7312.10.3012.
