The U.S. Speeds AD Sunset-Review Probe on Jam-Weld Stainless-Steel Pipe Fittings

On February 6, 2012, the U.S. International Trade Commission announced launching a rapid anti-dumping (AD) sunset-review investigation into jam-weld stainless-steel pipe fittings originating in Italy, Malaysia and the Philippines to determine whether cancelling the antidumping measures will cause the continuation or reoccurrence of material injury to U.S. local industries within a reasonable and foreseeable period.

On January 31, 2000, the U.S. Department of Commerce launched the antidumping investigation under HS code 73072300.00;

On December 27, 2000, the Department made a final antidumping ruling;

On November 1, 2011, the Department took the sunset-review probe.
