Mazda Sales (Thailand) reported impressive sales of 1,181 units last month, including record-breaking sales of 431 units for the Mazda 3, the best-ever level in three years.

Managing director John Ray said: "The number represents the best-ever level in three years, since August 2005, a strong proof of the car's great popularity and appeal."

Meanwhile, for Krung Thai Bank account holders, Mazda is offering a special promotion.

"For the BT50 sport pickup, a no-down-payment promotion is being offered, with interest starting at 1.99 per cent and up to 84 months' instalment. Buyers of the Mazda 3 enjoy a starting price of Bt775,900," said Mazda Sales (Thailand) marketing director Sureethip La-ongthong.
