HK committed to becoming leading wine hub

The government was committed to promoting Hong Kong as Asia’s leading wine trading hub, Hong Kong Trade Development Council Executive Director Ye zeen said on Hong Kong's first International Wine Fair.

 

According to Ye Zeen,  the Asian alcoholic drinks market is expected to increase with an 10% -20% annual growth in next five years, primarily driven by the mainland, followed by Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and South Korea. Wine-related income in 2012 is expected to bring Hong Kong more than 1 billion HKD revenue.

 

More than 250 exhibitors from  25 countries and regions showing off their finest liquor on the fair.
