Three Choices of Nero Absoluto For a Granite Worktop

Black is an excellent choice of colour for a granite surface and Nero Absoluto could be the blackest of all!
In a previous article, I discussed five types of granite that were either black, or had black markings within; in this article I will be discussing, which in my opinion, are the three main and most consumer-popular types of Nero Absoluto granite.
Nero Absoluto Zimbabwe
Zimbabwe as it is commonly referred to be a popular choice of stone for a kitchen worktop; it is not as black as the other types of Nero Absoluto and can be a little misty within. Zimbabwe is probably the least black; but is excellent, as it doesn't show smears and marks as much as other types of Nero Absoluto.
Nero Absoluto India
Nero Absoluto India tends to be mistier than Absoluto Zimbabwe, but the very best of Indian, is probably the best Absoluto that you will ever get!
Nero Absoluto China
There are actually two types of Nero Absoluto granite from China; one from the Shanxi region of China, the other from the Mongolian region of China and for the purpose of this article, I will be referring to them as; Shanxi Black and Mongolian Black.
Mongolian Black tends to be less popular with consumers; if you're looking for a really dark stone, then Shanxi Black is probably the one to go for. With this in mind; I would say that the two blackest Nero Absoluto granites are premium Indian grades (which are generally hard to get) and Shanxi Black.
There is another Nero Absoluto that I didn't include in the list above, this being; South African Nero Absoluto. From what I have learned from the market; this stone is less common with consumers, unless you are able to get premium grade. The "Good Stuff" truly is fantastic, but it is reasonably hard to obtain.
All of the Nero Absoluto granite types are a superb choice of stone for a work top surface. They are some of the purest blacks available, are probably one of the hardest and will definitely stand the test-of-time!
