Vietnam : MOT issues notification on textile & apparel exports to Turkey[23&apos

On January 17, 2007, Ministry Of Trade and Industry (MOT) announced Notification No. 0005/BTM-DM about management of exports of textile and apparel goods to Turkey from January 11, 2007 onward.



The decision was taken after the official declaration by the Turkey about the removal of import quota on textile and apparel goods.



According to notification issued by the Turkey, quota restriction on the textile and apparel goods from Vietnam will be removed once the country officially becomes member of WTO.



Now, domestic exporters only have to follow procedures at Customs departments.
