ICI the World Shoes Importers Sets Factory in Putian Economic Zones

The report witnesses a footwear complex being built on Licheng Economic and Developing Zone in Putian, which will put into operation in the March of this year, and expect to produce 30 million pairs of world branded sports shoes.
 

The footwear complex was co-invested by ICI, the one of five largest America footwear importers, Taiwan Giant International Co., Ltd. and Buyuan Sports Goods Co. Ltd. On, it is estimated the first phase of project will cost one million Yuan RMB.
 

It is said Buyuan Sports Goods Co. Ltd. is a longstanding supplier of air-cushion shoes sole to ICI and Taiwan Giant International Co., Ltd. Due to the impacts of ongoing financial crises these three companies signed cooperative agreement and decided to jointly build their own production base on Licheng Economic and Developing Zone in Putian. The first phase of footwear complex composed of a science and technology research center, office building and production plants, and expected turnover 400 million yuan RMB each year while it put into production. Taiwan Giant International Co., Ltd. has decided to move it's headquarter to Putian from Donguan City.
