From Competition to Co-competition

[2009-07-20]

Clothes companies in different parts of China have stepped into the stage of expansion and adopted product diversification as their business strategy in recent years. The implementation of the strategy should not merely rely on the scale expansion, but keep the company's core competitiveness, strengthen the cooperation with other clusters and take the advantage of the specilization so as to get mutual development. The interregional communication and cooperation can help challenge the international brands, and also a protest to the constant profit reduction in garment industry. Co-competition has become the new trend of corporate development, a new cooperation mode based on the mutual competition. Hence, the basis of co-competition is complementary advantages, the way is resource interchange and the target is win-win development. Enterprises in market economy objectively compete against each other, but they also have the need of cooperation. In the face of international market, enterprises should not only compete with each other normatively but also focus on mutual cooperation.
