EuroBLECH: a top exhibition too far from Chinese metalforming users

As the No.1 exhibition focused on sheet metal forming industry, EuroBLECH 2006 had 1409 high-quality exhibitors, demonstrated the best equipment and technology that covering the whole matelforming industry chain and process.

It is a pity that many new products and technology have never been shown in China, e.g. many small household companies specialize in certain fields for a long time, and their strong suit even the big companies cannot compare with.

Due to the high cost and language barrier, most of Chinese parts producers have no chances to visit such a high class exhibition. So one of our targets is to invite those companies, who want to seek their fortune in China, to our international exhibition-MetalForm China. Luckily, we got many responses from companies of EU. The specialized fair will be the best platform for foreigners to Chinese market and get wildly recognized by Chinese users quickly.

First participation: connect the world with China

After visiting the EuroBLECH 2004, Mr. Qi Junhe, the Deputy Secretary General and Managing Director of China Stamping Group, spared no effort to promote the event to Chinese metalforming industry. And this year he lead Simon Liu, the project manager of MetalForm China Exhibition (Nov.20-22, 2007), to exhibit at the show for the purpose of recruiting overseas exhibitors, and got hot response.

Located at G31, Hall 16, decorated with bright colored five star national flag, together with the up-and-down Chinese delegates, CCMI''''s stand gained almost all the passerby''''s eyeballs.

During the five days, about 300 specialists found our booth in the guide of catalogue, preview, and our invitation, and had a chat with us.

They have various of demands from China, e.g. some wanted to set up branch or factories in China, some wanted to purchase parts, machinery from China, some wanted to seek for agency or copartners, and some wanted to hunt for suitable employees etc.

However, most of them have a common problem: there is no an expedite channel for the Chinese and foreign businessmen. Yes, there are many many chances in China, nevertheless, to know what the Chinese market really is, how to enter it, how to do business in China, how to find qualified partners etc still has a long way to go. A lot of Chinese enterprises have no English websites, their telephone operators are not able to answer the phone with English, and they give no response to English enquiries.

In fact, CCMI can help to cancel most of such troubles. The Metalform China exhibition, a specialized fair similar to EuroBLECH, offers the best stage for those who serve the metalforming industry to their end users, and those who want to buy parts from Chinese market.

Industry report: To emit voice of Chinese metalforming industry to the world

With the organizer''s request, Mr.Qi made a report on The presents and development of Chinese Metalforming industry. The report contained five sections:

1. Introduction to the present situation of Chinese metalforming industry.

2. Data and its analysis of the major customers'' industries of Chinese metalforming industry during from year 2001 to year 2005.

3. Data and its analysis of Chinese metalforming raw material, die and equipment during from year 2001 to year 2005.

4. Forecast of the future development trend of Chinese metalforming industry

5. Introduction to CCMI and its services

Based on statistics of national statistics bureau, related trade association and the customs, the report contains a lot of tables and charts, which clearly demonstrate the trend of the whole metalforming industry in China. Besides the automobile, household appliance, the motorcycle, bicycle, cell phone, PC, domestic made metalforming equipment industry also gained a great progress in the past 5 years, according to the report. The report was highly commended by the audiences. After the seminar, many audiences came to our stand for further information and materials.

It is the first time that we made systemic introduction of Chinese metalforming industry to the world for the overseas investors'' reference, and we will continue this work.

Plant visit: To update the current equipment

The China Stamping Group, China Sheet Metal Fabrication Group and China Container Group organized a delegation with 15members visited the exhibition and 6 companies: LEIFELD Metal Spinning GmbH, AWS SCH?FER, Schleifstein Maschinentechnik GmbH and one of its users, one user of Mueller Weingarten AG - GEDIA, Gebrueder Dingerkus GmbH, Boldrini.

The delegation got hot reception where they visited. Compared with the past, Chinese visitors have the capacity to buy more equipment from the developed industrial country. Some members of the delegation have definite requirements already, and discuss the details of purchase during visit.



There are big gap in technology, equipment, management and notion between Chinese companies and their counterparts in developed countries. So CCMI will organize more parts makers to visit some high class enterprises and exhibitions such as MetalForm China to get more inspirations.

During the Tenth Five Plan period, the output value of Chinese metalforming industry remarkably increased by 20-30%, and is anticipated to increase by 10-20% in the coming 5 years.

Considering the bright future of Chinese metalforming industry and the brilliant situation of the similar exhibition abroad, we believe that the future of the metalforming in China will be much better, and the MetalForm China exhibition will be the best platform for the over 40,000 parts makers!
